Accessible Lecterns

In addition to being a synchronous classroom with front camera for remote presenters, Copley 200 is equipped with a Freedom One™ Sit-to-Stand Lectern. To operate, use the pneumatic gas-assisted spring by pulling the release handle on the worksurface's side to adjust it to your desired height. The worksurface has a maximum lift capacity of 38 pounds and can be manually adjusted for a stable, ergonomic surface. The worksurface has a load-sensing, anti-collision feature that prevents movement with unbalanced loads.

Here's a step-by-step guide: 

1. Find the release handle on the left underside of the worksurface.

2. Pull the release handle to engage the pneumatic gas-assisted spring.

3. While holding the handle, gently push the worksurface down to a lower height or pull it up to a higher height.

4. Release the handle at your desired height, and the worksurface will lock into place.

5. Ensure all equipment and cables are secured before making any adjustments.

The whisper quiet electric lift mechanism raises the lectern from 28.5 to 42 inches in seconds, making it ergonomic, ADA compliant, and the right height for everyone. At present however, 352 cannot be booked without approval from the Physician Assistant's (PA) department as it is the core classroom used frequently by PA.

Here's a step-by-step guide: 

1. Plug the lectern into a power source using the provided 15-foot, 15-amp power cord. 

2. Find the control pad on the instructor-side of the lectern, under the worksurface's front edge. 

3. To raise or lower the worksurface, press and hold the "Up" or "Down" arrow buttons on the control pad. 

4. Release the button when the worksurface reaches the desired height. 

5. The worksurface can be adjusted from a minimum height of 28.5 inches to a maximum of 42 inches.
