For classrooms with a TV, please use the TV remote to ensure input is on HDMI and TV volume is set to zero to avoid echo from the wall or ceiling room speaker(s).
For classrooms without a control panel, the projector auto detects the signal destination (PC or laptop) so projector remotes have been removed to avoid tampering with those settings.
For classrooms with a touch or button panel, end users use the panel to connect to the classroom PC or a laptop.
Synchronous rooms with webcam remotes have one camera. Camera 1 needs to be selected at the top of the remote or camera will not respond to framing commands. The camera's default resting position may be facing away or pointed toward the ceiling when not in use.
Synchronous rooms without a remote, like Mullen Board Room, use the panel to frame the webcam(s) in the room.
Even if using an HDMI laptop connection, please make sure the room PC is turned on because it acts as a central hub and signal processor for the AV system, even when you're using a laptop's HDMI-out port for video. The HDMI input on the projector or TV display is not designed to be an HDMI-in port for another device; instead, it's an HDMI-out, meaning the room's integrated AV system routes all signals through the room PC for processing and distribution to the correct display and speakers.
