These rooms are now configured with current Crestron auto-detect technology, similar to Haley, Fox, and the majority of rooms in Copley.
To turn on the projector: Press the Enter key on the podium keyboard and sign in using your R-MC username and password, or sign into your laptop and then connect it to the HDMI cable. The projector will turn on in 20-30 seconds and should automatically display the connected computer's screen contents using the default HDMI 1 input.
Note that if the Room PC is set to "PC Only", the projector won't turn on until you set it to "Duplicate" or "Extend".
To turn off the projector: Sign out of the room PC or disconnect a laptop. The projector will stop displaying and will turn off once cooled. Please Do NOT shut down the room PC.
The old Extron control boxes in each were not able to be removed because there is no wall screen control in these two rooms. This is something we hope to budget for at a future date to be determined.
To lower the projector screen: Use the "On" or "Screen Down" button.
To raise the projector screen: Use the "Off" or "Screen Up" button.
The other buttons have been removed as they are no longer needed or functional.
To "blank" the screen:
Room PC: Hold the Windows key and press the letter ‘P’. Select either “PC Only” or “Second Screen Only”.
Laptop: Disconnect the laptop cable.
Please note that projectors are programmed to shut down if inactive for a period of time and will not turn back on until fully cooled down.
To return computer content to projector:
Room PC: Hold the Windows key and press the letter ‘P’. Select “Duplicate”.
Laptop: Reconnect the laptop cable.
To mute audio: Simply mute the sound on the source device.
The volume dial is also no longer functional. Volume has been set at a standard level on the amplifier but is adjustable by controlling the volume on the source computer.
Make sure the amplifier located in the lectern is powered on. Please do NOT turn it off.
Make sure the computer in use is either duplicating or extending the screen or this sound source may not show up as a choice.
The synchronous instructions remain unchanged for 316 and 317.
