Worsham Room

If you have requested ITS support in your event booking, the AV equipment will be set up ahead of your event.

This room has a manual AV set-up.

The room PC runs is configured to be wireless and is housed in a podium cart and left on so that it can get updates regularly.

If the projector is house on top of the podium cart. 

There is a power cable in the cart that has to be connected to the outlets along the wall adjacent to the Hughs room.

There is a wired mouse and keyboard on the cart as well that are used to operate the room PC.

A remote is provided in the podium cart that is used to operate the portable projector. The projector also has controls on top.

• HDMI1 is for the desktop

• HDMI2 is for laptop use

To lower the projector screen, push down on the switch located to the left of the doors to the Worsham room.

When finished, please push up on the switch to raise the screen.

Sign out of the PC or laptop and use the remote or controls on the projector to turn it off.

Please leave the PC on.

ITS will handle disassembling and storing of the equipment if you requested ITS support in your booking.

There is a separate podium with a wired microphone. By design, the microphone will only become live after the AV system in the podium is turned on.  The AV system controls the microphone volume/sensitivity.
