Using the Podium PC
Lower the projector screen by holding the down arrow on the switch near the light controls.
Touch the wall panel behind the podium to wake up the system if needed and select computer as source.
Sign into the PC using your R-MC username and password and computer's screen content should automatically project to the screen.
Projector sound should be detected and connect automatically. Adjust volume up or down using the touch panel.
To hide computer content from the projector, hold the Windows key and press the letter ‘P’. Select either “PC Only” or “Second Screen Only”.
To return computer content to the projector, hold the Windows key and press the letter ‘P’. Select “Duplicate”.
When finished, sign out of the PC (Please Do NOT shut down)
Use the touch panel to shut down the system.
The projector will turn off automatically once cooled.
Raise the projector screen to its resting position.
Using a Laptop
Lower the projector screen by holding the down arrow on the switch near the light controls.
Touch the wall panel behind the podium to wake up the system if needed and select laptop as source.
Sign in and connect the laptop to the provided HDMI cable or VGA + Auxiliary cables.
Projector sound should be detected and connect automatically. Use the laptop's sound settings to adjust volume up or down.
The laptop's screen content should automatically project to the screen.
To hide laptop content from the projector, disconnect the laptop cable.
To return laptop content to the projector, reconnect the laptop cable.
When finished, disconnect the laptop.
Use the touch panel to shut down the system.
The projector will turn off once cooled.
Raise the projector screen to its resting position.
Audio Tip
This room has one receiver in addition to the room speakers. Input 2-USB is paired to the room's handheld mic and 3-USB is paired to the room's lavalier mic. Spare batteries should be present if needed and are supplied by physical plant. Please do not touch the channel settings or move equipment from its designated room.
Turn on the room's AV system using the control panel.
Turn on the microphone(s).
Control the microphone volume/sensitivity using the master room volume controls.
