Copley 100
Room Tips
Copley 100 uses the same "black box" hardware as the synchronous classrooms aside from not having a front or rear camera.
The projector will lower when a computer source is signed into and connected and raise when signed out or disconnected.
Copley 100 has 2 mic inputs in addition to the room speakers, one paired to the room's lavalier mic and one paired to the room's hand-held mic. By design, the microphones will only become live after the AV system is turned on.
The room's blu-ray player has basic eject, play, stop and power functions. For advanced functions, use the universal remote located on the podium.
Basic Operating Instructions
Turn on the system and sign into the PC or a laptop using your R-MC username and password.
Turn on the Extron box located on the wall.
Make sure to switch to the input you will be using.
EX: Desktop input 1 or Laptop input 2; sometimes labeled PC or HDMI ; blu-ray
If you are going to use a laptop, plug in the HDMI cable.
The Extron speakers should be selected. If the sound is not coming out of the projector, make sure the amplifier located in the lectern is powered on. Please do NOT turn it off.
If using the PC, log off when finished but do NOT turn it off.
Use the Extron box controls to log out of the AV system.
Troubleshooting Tips
As a reminder, please do not use a remote to switch inputs because it will mess with the Extron box' ability to switch inputs.
Also, if the projector is on the right input and you still do not see the screen try hitting the Windows Key + P and then selecting duplicate.
If the projector is showing a blue screen, please use the Extron box controls on the podium to turn the projector off and on.
